Apple announces USB Camera Adapter, Lightning to USB-C cable for iPad Pro

Apple has introduced new set of accessories for the iPad Pro tablet lineup, a USB Camera Adapter and new Lightning to USB-C cable.

The USB Camera Adapter adds a USB port to the iPad Pro, allowing you to connect peripherals like hubs, Ethernet adapters, audio/MIDI interfaces, microSD, and more.You can also use it to transfer photos and videos from your digital camera to iPad Pro.The USB Camera Adapter is available from Apple for $39.

The new Lightning to USB-C cable can be used to connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad to a PC via USB-C. The cable can be also used with Apple's 20W USB-C Power Adapter to take advantage of fast charging with the 12-inch iPad Pro.

The Apple Lightning to USB-C Cable (1m) costs Rs. 2,300 ($25 in U.S), 2m options is priced at Rs. 2,500 ($35 in U.S) and the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter costs Rs. 4,100 ($49 in U.S). The cable is now available for purchase in the U.S, for India it will be available in the next few weeks.
