Huawei has scheduled an event on April 6 in London, where it will unveil it latest flagship, the P9, which will have dual rear cameras, which is expected to be provided by Leica. In addition to the regular model, the P9 will have three other variants – P9 Lite, P9 Premium and P9 Max. The render image shows the P9 Lite to have a metal-like finish, but will not have full metal body, as per the report. It will sport a single camera w/ LED as opposed to dual camera on the regular model and also have a square-shaped fingerprint sensor on the back.

The report says the the Huawei P9 Lite is code-named Venus and P9 Lite is not the final name. It will sport 5.2-inch 1080p display just like the regular P9,  pack 3GB RAM and the processor will not be as powerful as P9's Kirin 950 SoC. A recent leak had revealed that the P9 Lite will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 650 SoC. Other details of the specs were not revealed.
