ZTE outs Blade V580 with 5.5-inch 1080p display, fingerprint sensor


Following the announcement of the Blade D2 smartphone in Thailand and Vietnam, ZTE has outed another Blade series smartphone, the Blade V580 in Japan. 

The Android 5.1 Lollipop running smartphone sports a metal body, hybrid dual-SIM tray (SIM + SIM (or) SIM + SD card), and has a fingerprint sensor at the back, that also doubles as camera shutter.

The ZTE Blade V580 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, and can be further increased via microSD card. 

For imaging, it offers 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity features include support for 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery.

The ZTE Blade V580 is priced at JPY 27,800 ($ | Rs. 17,000) and will go on sale starting March 25 in Japan. It comes in Silver and Grey color options.
