Covia BREEZ X5 Windows 10 Mobile coming later this month


Japan based smartphone manufacturer Covia has announced a new Windows 10 Mobile handset dubbed Covia BREEZ X5.

The Covia BREEZ X5 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor, with 1GB RAM and 8GB in-built expandable storage. For imaging, it gets an 8-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone has dual-SIM slots and supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery.

Since it runs Windows 10 Mobile, it comes pre-loaded with Cortana, Microsoft Edge browser, OneDrive and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote). Covia says that the BREEZ X5 is aimed at business users, as it, "allows IT to test the latest Windows 10 Mobile updates against critical line of business systems and apps, before you distribute to end users via MDM (Mobile Device Management)". 

The Covia BREEZ X5 is priced at 24800 Japanese Yen ($226 | Rs. 15,000) and will be available later this month.
