Possible specs of Moto X (2016) surfaces, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM on-board


Earlier this month alleged photos and specification of Motorola's upcoming mi-ranger Moto G4/G4 Plus surfaced and now a new Motorola smartphone with model number XT1650 reportedly called the Moto X (2016) has been spotted on Geekbench3 listing.

As per Geekbench listing the Moto X (2016) will be equipped by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 820 processor, pack 4GB RAM and run Android Marshmallow, which is likely to be upgraded to Android N in the near future. It scores 2309 ponts on single-core benchmark and 5344 points in multi-core benchmarks, which is similar to some of phone equipped with Snapdragon 820 SoC. The listing does not reveal anything else.

Earlier reports suggest that Moto X (2016) will flaunt a metal unibody design and have fingerprint scanner. Recently CEO of Lenovo (Motorola's parent company), Yang Yuanqing said that Motorola will launch something "new & exciting" device on June 9. It is not known what this device is but could be Moto E 2016, Moto G4/G4 Plus or Moto X 2016 lineup.
