Samsung reportedly working on a Gear VR controller

Samsung is reportedly working on a dedicated Gear VR controller for the Gear VR headset. The controller will let you control the VR experience especially games on the Gear VR headset.

The render image show the controller to have an analog stick on the left and four-buttons keypad (X,A,B,Y) on the right, the start menu button in the middle with  a small LED indicator above it. The controller also has a right and left shoulder button and a Bluetooth sync button. The image also suggests that the controller can be attached to the headset when not in use.

At the moment there is no word on the announcement date, and Samsung is yet to officially confirm or drop hints that it is working on Gear VR controller. However, earlier reports suggested that Samsung will be unveiling a new Gear VR headset with USB Type-C along with the Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7), so we can expect the announcement to happen mid-August.
