Kingston's affordable UV400 SSD now available in India starting at Rs. 5,999

Kingston has launched its affordable UV400 Solid State Drive (SSD) in India. The SSD will be available with 120GB and 240GB capacity, priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively.

The Kingston UV400 is powered by four-channel Marvell controller for read speeds of up to 550mbps and write speed of up to 500mbps, that is 10x faster than a 7200RPM HDD, which allows for fast boot times, application loading and file transfers.

It has a rugged design making it more durable than a mechanical hard disk drive and is shock and vibration resistant for reliable use in notebooks and other mobile computing devices. It is available as a standalone drive or a bundle kit with all the necessary accessories for installation on your PC – 2.5" USB enclosure for notebooks and 3.5" adapter for desktop, a SATA data cable and a coupon for an Acronis data migration software download.

The Solid State Drive is backed by a limited three year warranty, and will also be available in 480GB and 960GB capacities soon.
