Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 with 5-inch display, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE launched for Rs. 7,499

Domestic smartphone vendor Micromax has launched a new Canvas series smartphone dubbed Canvas Amaze 2 with 4G LTE support. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is equipped with octa-core processor.

The Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the the screen from scratches. Under the hood, there's 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (SD415 likely) with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card (up to 64GB).

It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with 1.12um pixel size, dual LED flash and 5P Largan lens. For clicking selfies and video calling there's a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera. On the connectivity front, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 is priced at Rs. 7,499 and will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting from June 9.
