Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Mi laptop launch expected on July 27

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China on July 27 where it will launch new products. Even though Xiaomi has not mentioned what products it will be launching, multiple reports suggests that Xiaomi is expected to unveil the powerful mid-ranger Redmi Note 4 and the long rumored laptop called Mi Notebook.

An alleged Redmi Note 4 retail box has surfaced online that reveal some of the specs. As per the retail box, the Redmi Note 4 specs include 5.5-inch Full HD display, deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner and a massive 4100mAh battery.

Earlier rumors have claimed that Redmi Note 4 will have dual rear camera setup, but the retail box doesn't reveal anything about this. The Redmi Note 4 will sports a metal unibody design, similar to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 3.

As for the laptop a couple of specs have been leaked online (images are fake). The Windows 10 laptop is expected to feature 12.5-inch display, 8GB RAM, Core i7 Skylake processor and USB Type-C port. The laptop is expected to arrive in two display models: 11-inch and 13-inch and the specs mentioned above may only be for the top-end model.

Note that, Xiaomi has not yet officially revealed what it will launch on July 27. It could be the Redmi Note 4 or laptop or a lifestyle or a new surprise product. This report is based on rumors and speculation that are being made online, so take it with a pinch of salt.
