Gionee M6 mini with 5.3-inch display, 3GB RAM gets certified by China's TENAA

Last week Gionee introduced the battery-centric 5.5-inch M6 and 6-inch M6 Plus with 5000mAh and 6020mAh battery respectively. Now it appears that the M6 line up will get a third member and is expected to be announced soon. Dubbed M6 mini, the handset has been certified by China's TENAA revealing its key specs as well as design.

The photos published by TENAA suggest the M6 mini will have a metal uibody design just like M6 and M6 Plus, but it will not have home button/fingerprint scanner. Instead the scanner is located at the back.

The M6 mini carries the model number GN5003 and the specs are toned down, compared to M6/M6 Plus.  The handset will have 5.3-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, Android Marshmallow and 4000mAh battery.

Currently the launch and pricing details are not known.
