Dell unveils Alienware 13, 15, 17 VR-ready notebooks with NVIDIA GTX 10-series graphics

Dell has introduced three new Windows 10 gaming notebooks in the Alienware lineup The new models include Alienware 13, Alienware 15 and Alienware 17.

They all pack NVIDIA's latest GTX series Pascal GPU's, making them VR ready notebooks. This means you can plug in your HTC Vive or Oculus Rift and to the new laptops to play games or experience virtual reality. You can also connect the new laptops to an optional Alienware Graphics Amplifier, which allows you to connect a desktop graphics to the laptop to boost gaming experience.

The Alienware 13 is the smallest of the lot and comes with an optional OLED display with 100,000:1 contrast ration and 1ms response time. There is no word regarding other specs at the moment, but it will release in November.

The Alienware 15 has 15.6-inch IPS display with up to 4K resolution and can be configured with up to Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1070. It comes with PCI-e SSD and SATA HDD options, and includes USB Type-C port, an HDMI ports, mini DisplayPort and Ethernet. It is fueled by 99Whr lithium-ion battery.

The Alienware 17 sports a 17.3-inch IPS display and comes with up to 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 K-model processor aided by up to 32GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 graphics card. The notebook also gets an optional Tobii eye-tracking technology with Windows Hello support, which lets you unlock the notebook with a scan of your face. Other configurations are same as Alienware 15, except for the battery.

The Alienware 15 and Alienware 17 are due on September 30 in the US. Pricing is not known.
