HTC 10 Evo is official with Android 7.0 Nougat, water reistant body

As expected HTC has announced HTC 10 Eco in Taiwan and UK, which is basically the global version of HTC Bolt, that was introduced in the U.S exclusively for carrier Sprint, earlier this month.

The HTC 10 Evo carry forward the same design of Bolt, including its IP57 water resistance rating and unibody metal frame, and lacks 3.5mm audio jack, instead uses the USB Type-C port to transmit audio via headphones or earphones. HTC is also bundling USB Type-C headphone in the box.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the HTC 10 Evo has 5.5-inch QHD Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 810 processor 3GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port and 3200mAh battery. 

Other features include BoomSound Adaptive Audio, which scans the ambient noise around you to deliver the best sound to suit your personal hearing capabilities, and Hi-Res audio that delivers 24-bit audio.

The HTC 10 Evo is priced at NT$ 17,990 ($564 | Rs. 38,500) for the 32GB model, and NT$ 19,900 ($626 | Rs. 43,000). It is already available for pre-order in Taiwn and will start shipping from November 28 in gunmetal, silver or gold colors. Pricing and availability details for U.K is not known.
