Apple iPhone 7s will reportedly come with A10 chip, come in new red color option

The year 2017 will mark iPhone's 10th anniversary, and Apple reportedly has big plans for the upcoming iPhones. The 2017 iteration of iPhone is said to comes with major design changes, curved OLED display and wireless charging to name a few. However, a new report from Japanese blog Mac Oktara refutes these claims.

The report citing sources within Apple's Taiwanese supply chain says that 2017 iPhone will follow the same aluminum design language as Apple's current flagships, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Furthermore, the report mentions that the 2017 iPhones will be called iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, with no major design changes and will be powered by a more powerful Apple's A11 chipset.

Moreover, iPhone 7s/7s Plus will reportedly come in a new bright red color option alongside the current colors of Black, Jet Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.

Earlier reports had suggested that Apple is bringing three variants of iPhone next year including a premium iPhone 8 model with bezel-less design, OLED display, glass casing and wireless charging along with standard 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models with LCD display. That said, it appears that the report is talking about the standard 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch of upcoming iPhones.

Note that the next iPhones are still ten months away from launch, and Apple's plan can change anytime, so take these early reports with a pinch of salt.
