Gionee M2017 with dual-rear cameras, 7000mAh battery launching on December 26

Gionee has scheduled an event in CHina on December 26 to unveil its latest battery-centric M2017 smartphone. It got certified by China's TENAA last month revealing the design and key specs of the phone.

The main highlight of the Gionee M2017 is its beefy battery capacity of 7000mAh. It comes with a phablet-grade 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display with curved edges and packs 6GB RAM and 12MP + 13MP dual rear cameras.

Even though it has top-end specs, the phone is a mid-ranger as it is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor. Other features include 128GB internal storage, dual-SIM slots, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac and fast charging. All this is packed into a body that weighs 230g and comes in black color.

We should know the official pricing and availability details of Gionee M2017 later this month.
