Moto Cedric running Android Nougat spotted on FCC

While Motorola is gearing up for the global launch of the mid-range metal clad Moto M, the Lenovo owned company also appears to be working on a new smartphone code-named "Cedric". The phone was recently spotted at FCC and runs Android's latest flavor, Nougat.

The Moto Cedric was spotted with several model numbers ― XT1670, XT1671, XT1675, and XT1676 ― which means that the phone will carry slightly tweaked hardware depending on the region.

As far as specifications are concerned, Moto Cedric will reportedly feature 5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage and 2800mAH battery. It will be available in Single SIM and dual-SIM variant.

Unfortunately, other details are scarce, but considering the specs, Moto Cedric is most likely to be a budget offering, sitting between Moto E and Moto G series.
