The Xperia Z5 series which includes the Z5, Z5 Compact, and Z5 Premium was on the list of devices that Sony has claimed to roll out the newest Android 7.0 Nougat and just after releasing the update to the more recent X Performance and XZ, the X and X Compact, Sony is now about to bring Nougat 7.0 to the Z5 which the users have been asking the updates for.

Talking about the devices that have started rolling out the update, we have had reports of update to Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium devices and this update collection is likely going to get introduced to the Z5 Compact soon. It is a large file to be downloaded at more than 1.2GB, and it should up your phone's software to the newest version. Since it's a large update file, we recommend downloading the update file via your WiFi connection.

This Nougat update introduces a lot of improvements including longer battery life, a new Xperia launcher with integrated Google Now pane, a self-timer button for the front camera, multi-window support, and all of Nougat's new features.
