Vapor is Misfit's first touchscreen smartwatch


Popular wearable device maker Misfit has announced its first touchscreen smartwatch dubbed Vapor at CES 2017.

The Misfit Vapor sports a stainless steel body and has a traditional watch, so it can fit a wide range of users. It sports a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display that shows time, date, weather, heart rate, fitness stats and more. It also has a touch bezel that allows you to navigate menu or access notifications without touching the screen.

The wearable includes optical heart rate rate sensor, built-in GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and microphone. It's fitness tracking capability include counting steps, distance traveled, sleep-patterns, heart rate and active times.

It is powered by Snapdragon Wear 2100 and has 4GB storage to store music which can be played via connected Bluetooth headset. The smartwatch is swim-proof and water resistant up to 50 meters and promises two days of battery life.

The Misfit Vapor will be available later this year in Jet Black and Rose Gold hues for $199 (Rs. 13,490).
