Meizu M5 launched in India for Rs. 10,499

China based smartphone maker Meizu's latest offering to the Indian smartphone market is the Meizu M5. It was initially introduced in China back in October last year, and is now available in India exclusively  from at Rs. 10,499.

The Meizu M5 is a budget offering sporting polycarbonate plastic unibody design, 2.5D curved glass on the front and has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the mTouch 2.1 home button.  It runs Android Marshmallow based FlyMe OS.

In terms of specifications, the Meizu M5 features 5-inch HD display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with Mali T860 GPU and 3GB RAM. The storage capacity on-board is 32GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The camera department includes 13MP f/2.2 PDAF rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Connectivity duties are handled by hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 3070mAh battery fuels the device.

The Meizu M5 comes in Sapphie Blue and Champagne Gold hues.
