Gionee A1 Lite with 20MP selfie camera announced


Gionee introduced the camera-centric A1, and dual-camera toting A1 Plus at MWC 2017 earlier this year. Now the brand has launched a lite version of the Gionee A1.

The Gionee A1 Lite features 5.3-inch HD IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 20MP front facing camera along with selfie flash. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.  A beefy 4000mAh battery runs the show, that is rated to deliver up 295 hours of standby time.

The device runs Android Nougat based Amigo 4.0 UI on top and has a fingerprint scanner located at the back. The color options offered are Red, Black and Gold.

The Gionee A1 has been launched in Nepal for NPR 26,999 (Rs. 16,900), and will be available for pre-booking starting June 18. The device is expected to be launched in India as well next month for around Rs. 15,000.
