Meizu announces EP52 waterproof Bluetooth headset


Meizu just introduced the dual-camera toting M4 Note in China. In addition, the Chinese device maker also expanded its audio gear line up, with a Bluetooth headset called EP52. It is the successor of EP51, and come with improved sound quality.

The Meizu EP52 headset sports a Free-Edge diaphragm design and supports Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and Qualcomm's aptX audio. It has magnets so you can stock both earbuds together when not in use. It also include buttons for music control/answering call and volume control; and a microphone for hands free calling.

The headset has IPX5 rating for water and sweat resistance, and provides up to eight hours of music playback on a single charge, and up to 150 hours of stanby time. It comes in Red and Black hues.

The Meizu EP52 is priced at CNY 269 ($40 | Rs. 2,600) and will go on sale in home market of China soon.
