Karbonn K9 Smart Grand with 4G VoLTE, fingerprint scanner launched for Rs. 5,290

Home bred handset maker Karbonn has added a new budget smartphone to its K9 line called K9 Smart Grand. Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the dual-SIM phone supports 4G VoLTE and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The K9 Smart Grand features 5.2-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 8MP rear camera assisted by LED flash, and boasts features like Panorama shot, continuous shot and face detection. On the front there's 5MP camera for selfies. It is fueled by 2300mAh battery and supports WiFi, Bluetooth and USB OTG.

The Karbonn K9 Smart Grand has been priced at Rs. 5,290 and will be available in Black and Champagne colors. Considering the price, it is one of the most affordable smartphone in the country to flaunt fingerprint scanner.
