Zopo Flash X1 and Flash X2 with full screen display launched in India

Chinese device maker Zopo has launched Flash X1 and Flash X2 budget smartphones in India sporting near bezel-less design for a full screen display, boasting 83 percent screen to body ratio. They are priced under Rs. 9,000 making them the cheapest full screen phones available in the market. These phones runs Android Nougat, support 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, and are equipped with MediaTek processor, selfie flash, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Zopo Flash X1 features 5.5-inch HD+ (1280 x 640 pixels) Full Screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. For photography, there's 8MP Sony IMX219 rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash, while the front facing shooter is a 5MP f/2.2 camera, also assisted by LED flash. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery, that promises up to 11 hours of talk time.

The Zopo Flash X2 on the other hand offers the same RAM, storage and camera function as the Flash X1, but comes with a larger 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) Full screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and a decent 3380mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 15.5 hours of talk time.

As for the pricing, the Flash X1 has been priced at Rs. 6,999, and the Flash X2 costs Rs. 8,999. They will hit the shelves sometime in October with color options Coral Blue, Alien Black and Citrine Gold. The brand is also looking forward to sign an exclusive tie-up with an e-commerce portal to sell these devices as well.
