Moto Z2 Force lands in China as Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition

Motorola introduced its flagship Moto Z2 Force in the U.S back in July. And now the brand has released the same device in China as the Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition.

The differentiating factor between Moto Z2 Force and  Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition is in the color of the chassis and logo. While the regular Moto Z2 Force comes in Gold and Black, the  Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition comes in only black color with a gold logo at the rear. Otherwise, the Moto Z 2018 is same as the Moto Z2 Force in terms of design and specifications.

However, it comes in a special packaging. The box is designed to look like a brief case and inside you'll find a VIP card, a TurboPower battery mod, a wireless charging mod, a USB Type-C to 3.5mm audio adapter, a leather flip case, USB Type-C Hi-Fi headphones, 45th year anniversary notepad and warranty card.

Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition design and specifications
Design-wise, the  Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition is made of metal  and has 7,000 series aluminum metal frame and is covered with water repellent nano-coating to resist splashes. It has a light-weight & very slim design measuring 6.1mm around the waistline. Sadly, there's no headphone jack. Also just like other Moto Z devices, the Moto Z 2018 gets the 16-pin connector at the rear for the Moto Mods.

Speaking of the specs, the  Moto Z 2018 Special Kingsman VIP Edition features 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED Shatterproof display, Snapdragon 835 Mobile platform, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, 12MP dual-cameras (RGB + Monochrome), 5MP front camera, and 2730mAh battery. As mentioned earlier the battery can be extended using the TurboPower Moto Mod.

Other notable features are dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, selfie flash, Turbo charging and fingerprint scanner.

The Moto Z 2018 Kingsman VIP Special Edition carries a whooping price tag of CNY 9999 ($ Rs. 1,00,000), and is up for pre-order in China via Motorola eStore, and will start shipping November 6. It is not known whether a regular Moto Z 2018 will be released or not.
