nubia Z17s goes official with near bezel-less design, four cameras

ZTE's sub-brand nubia has announced nubia Z17S in China. It is a premium top end flagship offering boasting a near bezel-less design, up to 8GB RAM, and four cameras. It is made of premium 7 series aviation grade aluminum alloy frame and has 3D glass back with rounded corners for a comfortable feel.

The nubia Z17S features 5.73-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass protection. It has Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, 3100mAh battery, and comes in two RAM/storage configurations: 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB.

For photography, it rocks dual cameras at its rear, sporting a 12MP f/1.8 Sony IMX362 sensor with Dual Pixel auto-focus and a secondary 23MP f/2.0 sensor for 2x optical zoom and background blur. On the front there's dual 5MP cameras with f/2.2 aperture.

The phone runs Android Nougat based nubia UI 5.1 and supports dual-SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, GPS and USB type-C for connectivity. It has a fingerprint scanner at the back, and supports 26W fast charging, that promises up to 50 percent charge in just 25 minutes.

The nubia Z17s has been priced at CNY 2999 ($455 | Rs. 30,000) for the 6GB/64GB model, and CNY 3999 ($607 | Rs. 40,000) for the 8GB/128GB model. It is available for pre-order starting today in China and will go on sale from October 19 in Black and Blue color.
