Karbonn K9 Smart Selfie with 8MP front camera launched for Rs. 4,890

Karbonn Mobile has launched a new smartphone called K9 Smart Selfie, which brings a decent selfie camera to the entry-level segment. This is the third handset launched today, which puts focus on selfie camera. 

Earlier Coolpad and itel Mobile launched Cool Play 6C and itel S41 featuring dual selfie cameras. However, Karbonn's K9 Smart Selfie has a single selfie camera.

In terms of specifications, the K9 Smart Selfie features 5-inch FWVGA display bearing the resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and has a layer of 2.5D curved glass on top. It is equipped with 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, that's expandable via microSD card. 

For photography, it has 5MP rear camera with an LED flash, while the selfie shooter is an 8MP camera, and offers Night Shot mode and Beauty mode. Connectivity duties on the device is handled by dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs Android Nougat and is fueled by 2300mAh battery.

The Karbonn K9 Smart Selfie is available across India in offline mobile stores in Black and Blue colors for Rs. 4,890.
