LG X401 with 120-degree wide angle selfie camera announced


LG has announced a new budget smartphone in Korea dubbed X401 featuring wide-angle front camera for group selfies. 

It comes with 5MP selfie camera paired to a 120-degree wide-angle camera which is said to easily accommodate 7 - 8 people while capturing group shot. The main camera unit on the back houses 13MP sensor.

As for the other LG X401 features 5.3-inch HD display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, further aided by 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For connectivity there's single SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and GPS. It runs Android Nougat and is fueled by 2800mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The LG X401 has been priced at 289,300 Koreon won ($259 |Rs. 17,000) and will be available exclusively in home market South Korea through SK Telecom and LG Uplus starting November 7.
