Oppo A83 with near bezel-less design, entry-level specs passes TENAA

Late last month, Oppo introduced the Oppo A79 mid-ranger featuring near bezel-less design and a price tag equivalent of $363/Rs. 23,500. However, now it appears that the brand is going to bring a new bezel-less phone at a more affordable price tag.

The Oppo A83 has passed through TENAA flaunting a bezel design and carrying entry-level specifications.

As per the listing, the Oppo A83 will feature 5.7-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9.  It will be powered by 2.5GHz octa-core processor and be equipped with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and 3090mAh battery.

The camera department include 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front facing camera. The phone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat based ColorOS and also include dual-SIM/microSD card support via hybrid dual slot, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. You're not getting a fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo A83 is expected to arrive in two hues, Black and Gold. There is no word when the phone will be released, but since it has received green light from TENAA a official launch can be expected soon. Considering the specs, the Oppo A83 could be priced under Rs. 12,000.
