Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 32GB, Galaxy J7 Next get up to Rs. 3,000 price cut in India


Samsung India has reportedly dropped price of two of its budget Galaxy J series smartphone: Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J7 Nxt, that's according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 32GB model, which launched back in April this year for Rs. 16,990 has received Rs. 3,000 price cut and will now sell for Rs. 13,990. The Galaxy J7 Nxt, which was launched back in July this year for Rs. 11,490, has got its price down by Rs. 1,000, and is now retailing at Rs. 10,490. Both phone are available via online and offline channels in Black and Gold colors.

However, Samsung is yet to make an official announcement regarding the price cut.

To recap the specs, the Galaxy J7 Nxt features 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, dedicated front and back LED flash and 3000mAh battery. It also has 4G VoLTE support, separate slot for dual-SIMs and microSD card, and runs Android Nougat out of the box.

The 32GB Galaxy J7 Prime on the other hand ships with 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core 7890 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP/8MP cameras and 3300mAh battery. It also supports 4G VoLTE, has separate slots for microSD card and dual-SIM and runs Android Marshmallow out of the box, however, the Nougat update is already available for the device. Also there's fingerprint scanner, that's embedded into the home button.
