Vodafone India, Itel launches A20 4G at an effective price of Rs. 1,590

To take on Reliance Jio's JioPhone and Airtel's 'Mera Pehla 4G smartphone' initiative, Vodafone India collaborated with Micromax to launch an affordable 4G phone dubbed Bharat 2 Ultra 4G at an effective price of Rs. 999. 

And now Vodafone India is expanding the partnership and has joined hands with itel Mobile, to launch the itel A20. The phone carries a price tag of Rs. 3,690, but Vodafone will offer it at an effective price of Rs. 1,590.

The drill is same as before. To get the itel A20 at the effective price of Rs. 1,590, you will have to first make a payment of Rs. 3,690 upfront. This means you've to pay Rs. 2100 extra, which you'll get back as cashback later, given that you make a recharge of Rs. 150 or more per month for 36 months without fail.

The Rs. 1200 cash back is divided into two parts. First you'll get Rs. 900 at the end of the first 18 months, and you'll receive the remaining Rs. 1,200 cash back after another 18 months. You will receive the cashback in the Vodafone M-Pesa wallets.

Talking about the itel A20's specifications, it comes with 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 2MP/0.3MP camera and 1700mAh battery. The phone runs Android Nougat, support 4G VoLTE, and has seperate slots for dual-SIM and microSD card.

The itel A20 comes in Champagne Gold, Dark Blue and Silver hues.
