OnePlus 5/5T Get New OxygenOS Betas With Improvements To Camera, Weather App & System


A day after the OnePlus 6 got its second OxygenOS Open Beta, OnePlus has released new beta updates for its yesteryear flagships. OxygenOS Open Beta 18/16 for the OnePlus 5/5T bring improvements to the camera, weather app and system stability.

OnePlus introduced portrait selfies with the OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 5/5T received the feature with the last OxygenOS beta, and in this update, portrait selfies have further been improved. In addition, the beauty mode can now be applied to photos taken from the rear camera. Lastly, there are stability improvements to the weather app and system.

As always, existing beta users will be getting an update to the new builds. To help stable users move to the beta builds, OnePlus has posted detailed installation instructions.
