Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab 3 V Tablet in Malaysia for RM499 ($135)

Samsung has announced  a new Galaxy Tab A in Russia today. Now Samsung has also unveiled an Android tablet in Malaysia dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. It is an entry-level tablet with decent specs.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V features a 7-inch display offering a 1024x600 pixel resolution with its TN (twisted nematic) LCD display. TN screens have quicker response time, higher brightness, consume less power and are cheaper to make.

 It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage [microSD card support up to 32GB]. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's Touchwiz UI on top.

Camera features include 2-megapixel rear and front facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G support, FM Radio and Wi-Fi. It is backed by 3,600mAh battery. It will come in White or black color options.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V is priced at RM499 ($135) and is now available in Malaysia at Samsung Experience stores and Samsung authorized dealers. Telecom Operator Maxis is also offering the tablet for RM239 ($65) with two-year contract (with SurfMore 50 plan)
