NVIDIA Shield Tablet K1 gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

In November NVIDIA launched the Shield Tablet K1 running Android 5.1 Lollipop, and promised that the tablet will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow before the year ends. Now just as promised, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is now available for the Shield Tablet K1.

The update brings Android 6.0 Marshmallow features, plus some goodies from NVIDIA including revamped NVIDIA camera app with more Material-y user interface, bunch of new wallpapers and interestingly, Fallout Shelter game is now a preloaded app.

Note that, Android Marshmallow allows you to adopt SD cards as part of your device's internal storage. If you've been using SD card with the tablet you'll need to format it, in order to use this feature.
