Cyanogen OS 12.1.1 With Cortana Integration now rolling out to OnePlus One

Cyanogen has started rolling out Cyanogen OS v12.1.1 that comes with Cortana integration to OnePlus One. The update brings deeper integration of Cortana virtual assiatant than seen on the Android and iOS versions.

Cyanogen says that this is an initial release and Cortana will be available for Cyanogen OS 12.1.1 and up in the U.S. For now Cortana is available for OnePlus One. In early 2016, Cortana will be rolled out to other Cyanogen OS powered devices with even greater functionality.

OnePlus One users can now say "Hey Cortana" to get things done like setting alarm, calling or texting friends and schedule meetings. It is also possible to change phone settings like enabling silent mode or changing network modes using Cortana. In case you want to use Google Now, instead of Cortana, you can uninstall Cortana from Settings > Apps > All < Cortana and continue to use Google Now.

Cortana is already available for Android and iOS devices. Cortana for Android came with "Hey Cortana" features, but was later killed because it conflicted with Google Now.
