Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) silently launched in Dubai


A day after showing itself in leaked renders, the Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 has been silently announced in Dubai. The smartphone was spotted selling at Jumbo Electronics store there. Samsung is yet to make an official announcement and list the device on its website. However, now we know the specifications.
 
The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) features 4.5-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card. 


It comes with 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The Android 5.1 Lollipop running dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity. It is backed by a 2050mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) is priced at AED 499 ($135 | Rs. 9,000) in Dubai It comes in Black, White and Gold colors.
