ZOPO Speed 8 with Deca-core Helio X20 SoC is now official
At the ongoing MWC 2016, in Barcelona, Chinese smartphone maker ZOPO has introduced the world's first smartphone to rock a Deca-core processor, the Speed 8. The ZOPO Speed 8 uses MediaTek's Helio X20 SoC, which was announced in May, last year.
The ZOPO Speed 8 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with Helio X20 processor with Mali T880 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In the camera department, the Speed 8 gets a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, PDAF (fast focus in just 0.2 seconds), f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX230 sensor and 6P lenses. On the front there is 8-megapixel snapper with LED flash.The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG, NFC and USB Type-C. It is fueled by 3600mAh battery, that supports fast charging. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back for unlocking the device.
The ZOPO Speed 8 is priced at $299 (Rs. 20,500) and will be available globally starting April 12. ZOPO said that it is planning to launch the Speed 8 in India by April.
