Panasonic launches Eluga Tapp with fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE for Rs. 8,990

Panasonic has launched Eluga Tapp smartphone in India. The phone has been priced at Rs. 8,990 and has fingerprint sensor intergrated into the home button and supports 4G LTE as well as VoLTE.

The Eluga Tapp has a 5-inch HD IPS display and powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz, backed by 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt expandable storage and 2800mAh battery.

It carries 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 3G or 4G on one SIM and 2G on the other SIM. In terms of conectivity, Eluga Tapp features 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Software-wise Eluga Tapp runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 along with an add-on security feature called ‘Android for Work’ that allows the user to segregate the business apps from personal apps and also protects user’s personal data. 

The phone weighs 138g and comes in Champagne Gold or Silver Grey color options. Panasonic is also offering a protective screen guard as a free accessory with the Eluga Tapp.

The Panasonic Eluga Tapp is now available for purchase via all brand outlets across the country.
