Xiaomi Mi Note 2 to be unveiled on October 25


Xiaomi introduced the Mi Note in January last year.  The handset was so popular that it received 220 million registrations for the first flash sale and during the sale the entire Mi Note stock exhausted in just three minutes.

Now after one year and nine months, Xiaomi is all set to unveil the successor of the Mi Note. Dubbed Mi Note 2, Xiaomi has shedueled an event on October 25 to unveil the smartphone.

The Mi Note 2 will feature a curved display similar to Galaxy S7 edge and boast high end specs like QHD display, Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB RAM and dual-rear cameras.

According to multiple reports, there will be two version of Mi Note 2. The standard Mi Note 2 version with 5.7-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 12MP dual rear cameras and 4000mAh battery. The other is a Pro version with 5.7-inch display but with 2K or QHD screen, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Apart from that, the Mi Note 2 will come with a "surprise" according to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, but it's still a mystery and we will get to know about that on October 25.
