Acer India launches Swift 7, the world's thinnest laptop for Rs. 99,999

Acer India has launched the Swift 7 laptop, which it claims to be the world's first laptop to measure less than 1cm. It sports an all-metal aluminum uni body design that is 9.8mm thin and weighs 1.1kg.

The Swift 7 will be available from November 18 via Acer's store, select multi-brand outlets and online exclusively on Flipkart at Rs. 99,999.

The Acer Swift 7 feature a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display which is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by seventh generation Intel Core i5 Kabylake processor, and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.

It runs Windows 10 and includes USB Type-C 3.1 port, WiFi 2x2 802.11ac with MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack combo, fingerprint scanner and HDR enabled webcam. The laptop also supports Dolby Audio and Acer's TrueHarmony technology for a clearer and better surround sound experience.

According to Acer, the Swift 7 laptop can last up to 9 hours on a single charge.
