OnePlus 3T Renders, Specifications & AOSP Sources Leaked Ahead Of Launch

We are just two hours away before the official launch event of the OnePlus 3T kicks off. However, as they say, history seldom repeats itself. Just like the specifications of the OnePlus 3 were leaked ahead of it's launch event, this time OnePlus' website became the leak source. However, OnePlus was quick to notice this and were quick enough to take down the listing immediately. However, Google's bots were quick enough to cache the page into their memory. That's where we get the leak from.

Truly, OnePlus have shot themselves in their own foot. Anyway, the image above showcases the specifications the OnePlus 3T will be sporting. If you are unable to view the zoomed in version of the image above, just tap on it once or click here to view the image directly in a new tab.

Compared to the OnePlus 3, the 3T's front camera has been bumped up from 8MP to 16MP & the processor has been upgraded from the Snapdragon 820 in the OP 3 to Snapdragon 821 in the 3T. The battery has received an increment of 400 mAh as compared to the OnePlus 3 and the non-removable battery in the 3T sits at the 3400 mAh level.

It's not just the images and specifications which have been leaked, but OnePlus has also uploaded the AOSP sources of the 3T on their GitHub. Well, the sources will definitely ensure that the software development of the OnePlus 3T is looked after well by the Android community. At the time of writing this, the sources were still in existence.

The launch event begins soon, we will catch up with you then!
