Entry-level Honor Bee2 launched in India for Rs. 7,499

Huawei sub-brand Honor has  launched the entry-level Honor Bee2 in India, targeted at the offline market. It is the successor of Honor Bee, which was launched back in May 2015, and comes with minor upgrades. The handset supports 4G LTE and VoLTE, which was missing on Honor Bee, and runs the now dated Android Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 Lite.

The Honor Bee2 features 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display and is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage which can be increased via microSD card.

It comes with 5MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 2MP front camera, and packs 2100mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM slots, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The handset also offers additional features like Rainbow Light surrounding the rear camera module for LED notification which lights up when you get calls, messages or more. There's also a Smart-Key button on the side of the phone, which lets you quickly access flashlight or other apps.

The Honor Bee2 is priced at Rs. 7,499, but is available for a lower price tag of Rs. 6,999. It will be available offline through Huawei's 20,000 plus partner stores across the country starting April 19 in Arctic White, Obsidian Black and Sand Gold.
