Kiddle, A New Search Engine By Google

Google has been the ultimate choice for everyone for searching whether its students or professionals. If I talk about students, they use Google for many purposes like taking out images for projects, content for different subjects and a bunch of other stuff related to their studies. Its like a blessing for the students of current generation. Google's search results at times may contain some inappropriate content that may not be suitable for students. If you are a parent, or if you have a younger brother or sister, this may worry you. Google's new search engine, Kiddle, is aimed at kids. Kiddle is powered by the same algorithms used by Google search and it also filters out the content which might not be suitable to be viewed by students.

This search engine is still very new and sometimes you may not get information regarding certain things but its getting better day by day. If I compare it with Google, Kiddle's search results were satisfying but sometimes it used to not give any information regarding certain things but overall it performed great. Kiddle is primarily aimed at students, so it filters the content which is not required to be seen by students.

Apart from allowing the user to search across webpages, videos and images, Kiddle also consists of an encyclopaedia. Users can make use of over 700,000 articles to supplement their knowledge. Since the contents of the encyclopaedia are licensed under Creative Commons' ShareAlike licensed, students can even use the information obtained from the encyclopaedia in their projects. The encyclopaedia is categorised into different genres which makes it a lot easier for the user to find the suitable content as per their interest.

At the end, I would like to recommend you to suggest KIddle to your child or younger sibling.
