Micromax outs Selfie 2 with selfie flash, Android Nougat, fingerprint scanner

Micromax has quietly released a new smartphone in India dubbed Selfie 2, by listing on its website. As the name suggests, the Selfie 2 is a selfie-centric smartphone boasting 8MP Sony IMX135 sensor with f/2.0 aperture assisted by an LED flash for capturing better selfies in low-light conditions.

The selfie camera also comes with features like real-time Bokeh effect, wide angle, one touch shot and face beauty mode. The main camera at the back is a 13MP OV 8856 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree field of view and LED flash.

As for the other specs, Selfie 2 will feature 5.2-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage, that's expandable via microSD card. It runs Android Nougat and is fueled by 3000mAh battery. Other specs include fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM slots and 4G LTE & VoLTE support.

Unfortunately the price and availability has not been revealed yet, but it is unofficially available on Amazon India at Rs. 11,990 (+ Rs. 100 delivery charge).
