Meizu M6 Note with dual-cameras to launch on August 23


Earlier this week, details about Meizu's upcoming mid-range smartphone, the M6 Note hit the interwebs. And now the Chinese smartphone maker has scheduled an event in China on August 23 to make it official.  The company has also shared an invite that shows the device in Green color, and also confirms it to have dual-camera setup.

According to earlier reports, the Meizu M6 Note will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 chip and 4000mAh battery. It will most likely run Android Nougat and have a fingerprint scanner. The dual-camera setup  is said to sport two 13MP Sony IMX258 sensors assisted by PDAF and dual-tone LED flash, while the selfie shooter at the front will have 5MP f/2.0 sensor.

It is expected to come in two variants: 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The base model is rumored to cost CNY 1599 ($240 | Rs. 15,000).

The Meizu M6 Note unveiling will take place at Beijing Performance Arts Center and will kick off 3pm China time (12:30pm IST).
