Samsung Gets IconX 2018 true wireless earbuds gets support for Bixby assistant and battery boost


Samsung at the ongoing IFA 2017, Berlin also announced an upgraded Gear IconX true wireless earbuds, alongside Gear Sport and Gear Fit2 Pro.

The IconX 2018's design is similar to its predecessor, but gets Bixby Voice support. It can be activated by simply tapping and holding the earbud, and use your voice commands to control music or your phone.

Similar to the previous model, the new IconX has 4GB of internal storage, that lets you store music. It supports fast charging and promises up to five hours of music streaming (paired with phone) or up to seven hours of standalone music playback. In addition to the 82mAh built-in battery, the earbuds comes with a charging case that packs 340mAh battery. 



For fitness enthusiast, it automatically tracks running routines and feature standalone Running Coach function, which can be activity by tapping the ear bud to provide in-ear audio exercise status updates in real-time, with the need of your phone.

The Samsung Gear IconX 2018 has been priced at 229.99 Euros ($273) and will be available by November 2017 in Black, Gray and Pink hues.
