Google Announces 'Pretty Please' For Assistant To Prevent Children From Being Bossy

In the fall of 2017, Google launched Family Experience for Assistant featuring family-friendly games and stories. The aim was to bring the family together for various activities through the Assistant. After Family Experience was rolled out, Google started getting concerns from parents that children are becoming more "demanding and bossy" since they can get answers to all their queries from the Assistant instantly.

In the light of this problem, Google is bringing 'pretty please' to the Assistant. Now when children have to raise a query to the Assistant, they will have to include 'please' in their request. Google says that this feature will help in making children more polite.

The user of 'please' won't be mandatory, but if parents want, they can enable this feature in the Assistant settings. 'Pretty please' will be available later this year.
