Google Allo gets Hindi language support

As promised, Google has added support for Hindi language in Allo. For those unaware, Allo is a smart messaging app from Google, which was introduced back in September. It comes integrated with Google's Assistant, that lets you interact with app directly for suggestions, performing activities and accomplishing tasks as well.

With the latest update, you'll now be able to give voice commands in Hindi to Google Assistant in Allo, and receive the response accordingly.

To bring up Google Assistant in Allo, just add @google to your chat, and Assistant will be ready for help. To use Assistant in Hindi, just say "Talk to me in Hindi" or you can set it by going to language settings on your device.

Smart Reply is also getting support for Hindi language as well. This feature offers quick responses to a text sent by your friend on the app. Google says that half of Allo users use Smart Reply every day. Based on the language you are chatting in, Smart Reply automatically recognizes the language and suggests responses accordingly. For instance, you can now respond to your friends question 'kya haal hai' with 'Sab theek Hai' with just a single tap.

Besides Hindi, Allo has also got support for Brazilian and Portuguese language as well. The updated app can be grabbed from Play Store and Apple's App Store.  Last month Allo was updated with new features like emoji suggestions, new sticker pack and new themes.
